Add a Little Spice to your Kitchen with Vintage Cookware

We are admirers of retro-mod Pyrex and Corning Ware.  Ubiquitous in the 1950s and 1960s, vintage Pyrex and Corning ware casserole dishes, mixing bowls, and refrigerator sets, are durable, functional and have a story.  These vintage wares seem so ordinary, unpretentious yet it fosters happy memories of home comfort.  When vintage wares are brought to the table guests comment, 'grandma had that!' --it's what makes vintage ware extraordinary.

Here are a few pieces that are listed in the shop...

Land of the free and the home of the brave

America the land of the free and the home of the brave.  Almost a decade to obtain justice for all the innocent victims affected by an ideology so foreign to many around the world.   We are united, grateful and proud of our men and women in uniform, who risk their lives on a daily basis for our freedoms.  To all the service and intelligence personnel who carried out an extraordinary mission to bring bin Laden to justice, thank you.

Welcome to the Simply Borrowed Vintage Blog!

Welcome to the Simply Borrowed Vintage blog!  It took some convincing with lots of cafe au laits over the past few weeks to convince mom to give our own blog a try.  Lots of "You go ahead, I'll support you."  Finally, after sharing so many inspirational bloggers to mom, she caved!  We're not sure we are bloggers...but, we are willing to give it a try. This blog will be a place to share what inspires us in design, cooking, travel, vintage finds, and updates from our vintage shop!

Here we go.....
